Julie, a cheerful, free-spirited woman searching for her true self, is so adored by her fiancé that he is willing to work as Dracula’s dentist, just to earn enough to ask for her hand in marriage. But will Albert, the cunning Székler lad, be able to build that life-threatening machine that grinds down Dracula’s fangs? (so that the Pope will trust the Wallachian Prince more, to give him enough money for his crusade army against the Turks?)
But what happens if, in the meantime, Julis falls in love with her lover’s boss, the passionate and religious “sexy beast” of a tyrant? And as if that weren’t enough, she takes pity on her people and even turns against him as a revolutionary, even though he’s the one financing their family’s future?
Can a relationship withstand such a fatal political divide and emotional adventure? Is safety or passion her right choice?
